$70 for personal equine photo shoot at your barn, includes your choice of saddled/mounted or portrait shots, plus horse at liberty shots. No more than 120 minutes generally, depends on the cooperation of the animal.  You will receive a CD with all your photos (watermarked) for you to choose from. Prints can be ordered separately.

I also offer personal photo shoots for that important show that you’ve been preparing for! You and your horse will be looking your best and it’s a great time to get personal shots right there on the show grounds. Please email for your situation or needs and I can give you a personal quote!

PROMOTION OR SALES PHOTOS:

People in our culture are visually driven, a picture can often make all the difference in the world when trying to sell a horse. I understand that sometimes you would like just a few good photo’s to sell a horse with. I charge $20 for 5 good shots of the horse, provided he is totally prepared before hand and ready when I arrive. Max 20 minutes per session generally. The charge is $40 if you’d like your horse’s name photoshopped in the photo and/or two photos combined in one! (One photoshopped image per session)

PERSONAL PET PHOTO SESSION:

$50 for a personal pet photo shoot in the comfort of your own home! The photo shoot will be no more than 120 minutes, depending on the cooperation of the animal. Some pets take longer to relax than other and I want them to look and feel their best. I often take around 50- 100 photos per session. You will receive a CD with all your photos (watermarked) for you to choose from. Prints can be ordered separately.

~ART PRICES~

Pastel Paintings:

Pastel is a lovely medium that has the flexibility to be very soft for blending and also to create hard crisp lines and tiny details. It is one of my favorite mediums to work with. Pastel is similar to, but is not to be mistaken for chalk sticks. Pastels are created from pure ground pigments, but instead of mixing a liquid binder with the pigment to make paint, it is pressed with a bit of gum binder to create a solid piece of pure color. Sticks of color, thats all it is.

The material to create a pastel painting is more expensive that typical art supplies as quality makes or breaks a good pastel painting. I prefer using velour surface paper and card which has the feeling of velvet. A finished painting is somewhat unstable because the pressed powder is held in place only by this velvet, but the colors will remain intense and vibrant much longer than a traditional medium because of the purity of the pigment.

PASTEL COMMISSIONS PRICES:

Prices will vary, please email for a free quote or with any questions or special requests you may have on creating a special memory of your pet!

$250 for one subject in an 8″ x 10″ painting

$300 for one subject in an 11″ x 14″ painting

Add $50 for additional subject. Please email for quote on larger sizes.

Acrylic paintings:

Acrylic is a traditional medium and does not always have the stunning photo-like quality that pastel has, but it is a dependable, bright medium that will render a beautiful painting to grace your halls with you’re pet’s image! I would recommend acrylic for very large paintings.

ACRYLIC COMMISSION PRICES:

Acrylic on canvas paintings, horse portraits or pet portraits

 $200 for one subject on a 8″ x 10″ canvas.

 $250 for one subject on a 11″ x 14″ canvas.

Prices will occasionally vary.

I am always willing to take inquires for art, however I usually have several paintings already going and therefore cannot guarantee a piece by a certain time period. Because of my ongoing collage classes, I do have a waiting list available and I will contact you when your piece is started.

If you commission a painting, upon final payment, you will own the original work. All copyrights remain with the artist, as is standard in copyright law. The artist retains the right to reproduce, license and sell the all commissioned images at her own discretion.
