There is something for everyone down in Grand Rapids these days. Artprize has been quite the experience so far… There is more than enough art on almost every corner and in all kinds of shops around the city to keep you entertained for hours. I must say though, the work that is displayed has caused me to think over what my own art pursuits are, or what they can be. Everyone’s trying to say something, they all want to be heard. From the most abstract piece of canvas to a photorealism drawing. I am slowly learning to see what they see…  be it different or very similar to my own opinions. Art is communication.
