Saturday’s weather was a bit unpredictable, but that didn’t stop the large group of horse lovers that gathered at the Friesian Connection farm that afternoon. And it wasn’t just the ‘all you can eat’ ice cream that attracted them! It was getting a chance to get a glimpse of the gorgeous, nationally known Friesian Stallions that were to perform that day. It is another sunny day, beautiful and bright. I gave some horse lessons this morning and worked on the the website some more. There are new pictures under “photography”. I have a pastel painting in progress of the neighbor’s Fresian, Luke, as well as a series of six paintings for our church that need to be done by October. And then I have to finish up the Mural by the time school starts. Whew! Stay tuned for more updates!

The art hop was an amazing success! I’ve never done anything like that before and I felt greatly encouraged. Even if only one person says they’ve been touched by what they see, it makes the whole night worth it to me. The community of artists there were fun to talk to as well. Thank you to all who came out!!

It is a beautiful rainy day and i’m hoping that my room here does not flood again. :/ Its been a very rainy summer.
